Don't you just hate when you find that your favourite eyeshadows or favourite blusher has cracked into pieces and the only thing you can do to avoid the powder getting messy is throwing it in the bin.. What a waste of money.. Well don't throw it away.
What you can do is go to your nearest drugstore/pharmacy and purchase a bottle of rubbing alcohol/surgical spirit that will last you a while; all you need is a drop for every pan.
1.If your eyeshadows/powder is completely cracked without any section that is perfectly fine what you would have to do is a get a sharp pin/knife and break the whole eyeshadows into smaller powder particles.
2. This is the part I find difficult because I always seem to overflow the pan or the powder seems to bomb-blast on me anyways what you do is using a pipette or a spoon just pour one drop of the alcohol on to the eyeshadow, and mix the eyeshadows together until it becomes a thick consistency.
3.Spread the eyeshadow out evenly and avoid bubbles, keep the eyeshadows on open air for a while about half an hour or so.
4.now get a coin or you can use your finger something that is similar to the shape of the eyeshadow, cover the coin with a cloth or tissue, your eyeshadow should be damp but not so wet.
5.Now press the eyeshadow using the covered coin to compress the powder.
6.that's it your all done, leave it to dry further and avoid storing the eyeshadow somewhere that will gain pressure and further cracking,it should be as good as new.
Do
you ever come to the point at night where you have a tonne of Make-up and need
to get rid of it from your
face, only to find out that you ran out of Makeup remover or never had any to begin with? and some makeup does not come off with the simple..." wash your face with water technique"
so here is a few things you could do to remove the makeup.
1.Use Vaseline/Petroleum jelly on a cotton pad or massage onto your face to remove the makeup and then wash your face using water, does leave your face with insoluble bubbles.
2.Use olive oil on cotton pad to remove the makeup.
3.Make your own eye makeup remover by mixing olive oil/almond oil with water and storing in a travelling bottle.
